This has been a  busy and exciting year on our alpaca farm.
Spring brought ribbons and excitement to our little farm!
We usually attend 3 shows a year and we enter many of our fleeces into events across the country. We enjoy receiving feed back about our fiber. There is a new event we are looking forward to this year, the first ever Unskirted Fiber Event, that CIABA is holding at the Green Mountain Fall Spectacular.  We always look for spin-offs and 2 ounce fleece events across the country.

This year the  first few days of April of 2011 we attended the North American Alpaca show in Springfield Mass. We had a wonderful show! With our little ones in tow, we had everything we needed ! Last year we forgot everything, so we are certainly improving!

Again we had a great time with our friends all around us. The folks at Stonewall Fields Alpacas, Crown Point Alpacas, Lavender Hill Farm Alpacas, we always take up the whole row,and we have learned to work together to combine costs, and share with each other, supporting each other in anyway we can.
To make it even better, we came home with Ribbons that were won by Our Herdsire Prince Harry's baby boy!  Admiral  Lord Nelson took a 4th place in a class of 14 TB males!
Oliver's Joyful Madeline, ribboned again as last year, this time with a 3rd in a huge class, and our little bundle of fiber Prince Charlemagne took a 4th out of 15 in his class.  We are so proud of them.
We love them if they win or not, but it is a nice stroke to the ego with these beautiful ribbons!

Hope you  enjoy the slide show of our farm below.
